For Paris Design Week 2020, Triode presented a selection of mirrors by American designers shown for the first time in Paris including pieces by Another Human, Ben & Aja Blanc, Chris Wolston, Christopher Stuart, Ocrùm and Trueing. A must have design piece, mirrors offer endless variations, bringing new perspective to any interior.
Christopher Stuart launched his Bimetal series at the show. For Bimetal Mirrors, two dissimilar metals: Stainless Steel and Brass were tig brazed, ground smooth, and mirror polished for a seamless color change. The somewhat distorted reflection as a result of the oil canning produced by the different shrink rates of the metals and the subtle wavy lines of the welds are satisfying imperfections.
